Thank you for your interest in Camp Eagle. Camp Eagle, in Fincastle, Virginia, was established in 1982 by Shenandoah Baptist Church, in Roanoke, Virginia. The camp's original goal was to minister to young people through week-long summer camps. Since then, Camp Eagle's ministry has grown to serve youth, adults, couples, families, schools, churches, and many other individuals and groups of people.

While Camp Eagle is equipped to do retreats, church picnics, youth group outings, school outings, team building events, family fun festivals, and much more, summer camps are still our specialty. There are great advantages to a Christian camping experience for young people of all ages. A week at Camp Eagle can challenge youth in areas of spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and social growth. Lives are changed each and every week at Camp Eagle through its Biblically based program.

Our philosophy is simple - we want to provide a place where people can get away from the routine of everyday life and the pressures of the world into an environment where God's creation is on display and a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is enhanced.
